What is the Oscillot System?

The Oscillot System is an Australian designed system to safely and effectively keep cats in their own gardens.
Cats use a jump-grab-climb action to get over a fence.

The Oscillot System is designed to counteract this technique. When the cat places its paw on the paddle, which is attached to the top of the fence, the paddle will spinn and the cat will not have any leverage. Therefore, the cat cannot get the required traction on the fence top and falls back safely to the ground in their own yard.

Is the Oscillot System suitable for your garden?

Is my fence suitable?

We recommend a sturdy, straight fence of at least 1.80 metres high.
Highly climbable fences, such as a fence with horizontal planks, require additional adjustments.

Are there platforms next to the fences?

Platforms such as a bin, table, windowsill or tree can assist your cat to scale a fence. These platforms can reduce the jumping distance to less then the recommended 1,80 meters. Remove or block these platforms next to the fences.

Position of the paddle

The correct position of the system is important for successful installation. This can require the use of brackets. View the sample photos and manual. For customized advice please send a photo of your garden/ fences. We are happy to help.

What do you need?

The Oscillot System consists of a four bladed paddle, between mounting components, the so-called dual knuckle post kit. A paddle and post kit can be ordered as a set. (paddle set)

You can complete an order by adding extra dual knuckle post kits and, if necessary, mounting brackets
